Drum line t-shirt order form. This is a fundraiser to help the high school drum line raise money for their Colorado trip at the end of the year. Anyone can buy a drum line shirt and a portion of the proceeds will go to the kids. Please contact Mr. Robert Cheek with any questions.

The winning teacher wears a turkey hat or carries a stuffed turkey around for a day. Food/money donated to the local food bank - cute idea!

School pictures are being made tomorrow morning. (9/26/19) Please dress for your pictures then you can change for your BLUE OUT Spirit Day attire. Everyone should have their pictures taken even if you don’t plan to buy pictures. These will be used for the yearbook.

9-26 7th Grade game in Arp will start at 5:00. 8th grade game will follow.

The Junior High Art classes have been busy creating a forest using different shades of color to create landscape and wildlife.

If your child is riding the bus with another student, please send a signed written note (from both parents) anytime between today and FRIDAY morning by 8:00 am. There will be Builder’s Club Meeting Wednesday, September 18th during Late Breakfast/ZAP time in Coach Lingo’s Room #205. Whether you have already signed up or not, please make plans to attend and find out some of the exciting activities the Builder’s Club will be taking part in and sponsoring.

7th Grade will start tomorrow in Union Grove at 5:00 instead of 5:30. 8th grade will follow 7th and JV will follow 8th. We apologize for any inconvenience.

6th grade class tshirts!! Money is due by this Friday, 9/13/19. Students have been given a form to be brought back filled out with their size. Please disregard the check option. We can accept cash only. Checks will be returned to parents. Students will need to have these shirts to wear on field trips and throughout the year on special occasions.

This week is our first football game. Although it is out of town, we will have a pep rally to kick off the season since we don’t have a home ballgame until OCTOBER. So, this week’s spirit dress is, “ Hawaiian Day,” as we lay out the lions of Union Grove.

We will remember our country’s attack on 9/11 on Wednesday as we dress up for Patriot’s Day, wearing red, white, and blue in honor of those that perished and those left to carry on after the 9/11 attacks on our country.

September 6th marks the beginning of Quitman Junior High Family Groups! Family Groups focus on enhancing all students' social and emotional skills. All students have a specific staff member that will serve as their Family Group Leader. The QJH staff is excited and enthusiastic about building positive relationships and helping our students SHINE! Parents, please encourage your student to participate.
