Today’s Spotlight is shining on…. Cole P. Cole made an incredible video of our Valentine’s Day Dance, capturing the decorating as well as the festivities. It was an amazing technological task, and gave us a wonderful memory of a fun night. Great job, Cole!

We are getting our STEM on in 8th grade ELA today! We have divided the classroom into East and West as a representation to the Berlin Wall that divided Gerta and her family in our class novel A Night Divided. The students are collaborating and designing a pulley system based on what the character Gerta used in the novel. They have to create and record their findings along with completing a Plot Diagram and also a Novel Analysis!

Some of Mrs. Hipp’s STEM students faced a BIG challenge today at IFly. Students were tasked with a high school level STEM activity where they had to predict their terminal velocity in IFly’s wind tunnel. The IFly instructor recorded their actual terminal velocity & then students had to compare the two values to see how close their prediction was. No doubt students sharpened their #Math & #Science learning, today! 🤨🧐 A special thank you to Coach Scott for driving the bus today and to Ms. Barnett for helping to chaperone the learning with Mrs. Hipp.
