Quitman ISD's Administration Office will be closed from Monday, July 1, 2024, through Friday, July 5, 2024. Normal business hours will resume on Monday, July 8, 2024. The secondary campus will be closed to all staff and visitors on Monday, July 1, 2024, and Tuesday, July 2, 2024, due to scheduled law enforcement training.

Beginning July 1, 2024, the First United Methodist Church of Quitman will launch its Summer Food Program. From July 1st through August 9th, between 11:30 A.M. and 1:00 P.M., free nutritious meals will be provided to children 18 and younger during summer vacation. Graduation Update:
The 2024 Graduation Ceremony will take place at Bud Moody Stadium at 6:00 P.M. Seniors are required to report to Ballard Gymnasium by 4:30 P.M. Gates will also open at 4:30 P.M.

The 2024 graduation ceremony will now begin at 6:00 P.M. at Bud Moody Stadium. Gates will open at 4:30 P.M. QISD will continue to monitor the weather and will make a final decision regarding the location at noon. The graduation ceremony will start at 6:00 P.M. regardless of the location. Thank you for your patience and understanding.

Due to weather, the Senior Bonfire will begin at approximately 7:30pm.
Dear Graduates and Families,
Please be advised that the weather forecast for Friday, May 24, is being closely monitored by QISD officials. The graduation ceremony is scheduled to proceed as planned at 8:00 PM on Bud Moody Field.
However, due to potential weather concerns, there might be adjustments. The following options may be necessary depending on the weather:
The start time could be moved up to as early as 6:00 PM. Please plan accordingly for this possibility.
If the chance of rain or storms increases above 50%, the graduation ceremony will be relocated to Ballard Gym. In this event, the ceremony will still commence at 8:00 PM.
We understand the importance of this event and will inform you of any further changes. Your safety and comfort are our priority.

Game Update:
The baseball game scheduled for tonight has been canceled due to weather. Information will be shared once the game has been rescheduled.
Starting Monday, April 15, 2024, Bus 6 (Holiday Village) will implement door-to-door stops for all students utilizing the bus service. Due to the winter weather conditions, the basketball games originally scheduled for Tuesday have been rescheduled. The rescheduled games will now take place on Wednesday, January 17, 2023, at 5:00 P.M. Please note that only the Varsity teams will be participating. Thank you for your understanding.
