People's Telephone Cooperative was gracious to install a wireless access point that will provide us with wireless Internet access in the parking lot in front of the Junior High/High School for those that do not have Internet at home. Thank you People's Telephone Cooperative.
THE PTO FAMILY FITNESS NIGHT originally planned for Tuesday, March 24 has been cancelled.
KALI HAMMOND and her service dog Sandy visited with 5th graders Wednesday to talk about her life, her dog and how to overcome obstacles. She is the granddaughter of QES staff member Diane Wilson.
QISD will be closed for Spring Break from Monday, March 16th through Friday, March 20. Also, Monday, March 23rd is a scheduled Staff Development day. Classes will resume as scheduled on March 24th.

READ ACROSS AMERICA day was today and GT students, Mr. David Dobbs, Superintendent Turner, Mr. Pettiette, and Principal Nichols read to Kindergarten and First grade students from Dr. Seuss.
