Kona Ice will be on campus Wednesday, November 4th. The cost is $3 for small, $4 for medium, and $5 for large. We will not be able to use the reusable cups due to COVID restrictions.
Attention all QJH students,
Quitman ISD will be closing next week due to the growing number of COVID cases at the elementary. Our JH classes will still have work assigned for during this time, and students will be expected to have all assignments completed on Monday, November 2nd when we return to our campus. This is NOT a vacation!!
Students need to take everything home with them for next week. This includes your Chromebooks, chargers, any class materials, PE/athletics' clothes or shoes out of the locker-room, any items or materials from lockers or specific classrooms, and instruments from the Band Hall.
You will need to be checking your school emails, Google Classroom, and any other online program that is used for your regular class time. YOU WILL NEED TO CHECK IN WITH EACH TEACHER on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday in order to get credit for your attendance. If you are not receiving assignments, please reach out to your teachers through email.
If you do not have internet access at home, you can come to the school parking lot and many of our local businesses in order to have access to wifi. (Dairy Queen, Speakeasy, McDonalds, and Pizza Hut are just a few examples.)
Students, there was a letter from our Superintendent, Mrs. Turner, sent to your school emails that will explain more about the situation. Please check your school email to make sure you received it.
We will postpone our Red Ribbon Week activities until the following week when we return to the building. Please follow the same spirit dress schedule.
Those of you that have signed up for UIL may receive information from your coaches during this week since we were scheduled to have practices and time is running out.

School Closure
There will be no football games against Commerce tomorrow night. Commerce has cancelled.
Tickets for tonight's game will be sold at the gate on a first come first serve basis.
The game starts at 5.

JV Football game vs. Winona on October 1st has been cancelled. 7th and 8th grade will still play starting at 5:00pm.
QISD will be strictly enforcing the face mask and social distancing rules at our athletic events. We want our students to be able to finish their seasons. Remember, you must wear a mask when entering our gym, football field, and other facilities.
