The Republican Women of Wood County donated dictionaries to our 3rd and 4th grade students today. We want to thank those ladies for their generous gift to our students.


3rd graders got to enjoy some popcorn and board games today to celebrate all of the hard work they put in this year.




If your student will be moving up to 6th grade next year, here is his/her supply list.

Thank you to our Quitman Elementary PTO for adding more Dash Robots to our STEM program this year! The students are having an awesome time coding and programming Dash.





Teachers are superheroes




It was bittersweet today to give these 5th graders their final G.T. gift. We had 5 fifth grade G.T. students this year and they were all amazing in their own way. I have no doubt they will be a great addition to Quitman Junior High.

April 5th & 6th


On Friday the 3rd graders had a wonderful field trip to the A&M Commerce Planetarium and Buford Park in Sulphur Springs.

The Library put on the Treasure Island challenge in the month of February. These students completed the classic tale from 1881 and got rewarded with pizza with the Principal plus a little treasure.
