The 2019 Wood County Junior Livestock Show will be held April 4th-6th at the QISD AG Pavilion located behind the Quitman Junior High/High School. Seven area chapters will have the opportunity to enter projects in nine different areas.
The schedule for the show is as follows:
Thursday, April 4th
- 7:30-8:30 AM - Rabbits and Broilers check-in.
- 9:00 AM - Broiler show
- 10:30 AM - Rabbit show (immediately following broilers, but no earlier than 10:30AM)
- 12:00PM - Ag Mechanics projects due in place
- 1:00PM - Ag Mechanics judging
- 5:00-7:00PM - Check-in and Weigh-in for swine, steers, dairy heifers, commercial heifers, goats and lambs. No entries accepted after 7:00PM
- 10:00PM - Livestock arena will be locked until 6:00AM
Friday, April 5th
- 8:00AM - Swine Show
- 10:30AM - Commercial Heifer Show
- 11:30AM - Steer Show
- 12:30PM - Dairy Heifer Show
- 1:30PM - Goat Show
- 2:30PM - Lamb Show
Saturday, April 6th
10:00 AM - Auction
