The theatre class’s newest musical, “The Addams Family: A New Musical Comedy; School Edition” is slated to begin this Thursday, 11/18, at 7 p.m. in the high school auditorium. In addition to Thursday evening, the musical will also be performed on Friday, 11/19, at 7 p.m. and on Sunday, 11/21, at 2:30 p.m. Ticket prices will be $5 for adults, and $3 for students/seniors. Tickets will be sold exclusively at the door. This show is rated appropriate for all audiences.
“The Addams Family: A New Musical Comedy; School Edition” features a scenario every father dreads when am almost grown-up Wednesday Addams (everyone’s favorite child princess of gloom and doom) confides in her father Gomez that she has met a boy and fallen in love. She begs her father not to tell her mom Morticia, which leaves Gomez in a bind—he’s never kept a secret from his wife before. The scene is set when Wednesday’s new boyfriend brings his “normal” family from Ohio over for dinner one night.
