Seniors Brandon Jimenez and Sara Cross were named Homecoming King and Queen last Friday night in the opening ceremonies before the football game against Winona. Other seniors on the Homecoming Court were Kennedi Howle, Jack Tannenbaum, Wyatt Hightower, Brooklyn Marcee, Parker Simpkins, Avery Von Reyn, Rhianna Bradshaw and Ford Tannenbaum. The Junior Duke was Alan De Gorostiza, and the Duchess was Reagan Hornaday. Sophomore representatives were Duke Carlos Flores and Duchess Abbi Day. Rounding out the Homecoming Court was Freshman Duke Ryan Widemon and Duchess Peyton Kruckner.

The 2020 Homecoming Queen, Miss Kaitlyn Barnett was on hand to crown the new queen, along with last year’s king. Dallie Glenn served as flower girl and Tucker Hayes served as the crown bearer.

Queen Sara Cross, daughter of QHS teachers David and Leann Cross, is very active on campus. She is a Proud Blue Band member and currently serves as Student Council President.  She also serves as President of the National Honor Society and Vice-President of the Key Club. She is also a member of the yearbook staff.


King Brandon Jimenez can be found on or off the track competing in both Track and Cross Country events. He enjoys working out and team rope.
