Quitman Independent School District is pleased to announce Ashley Wedeking as High School Assistant Principal for the 2026-2027 school year. Mrs. Wedeking brings 14 years of experience in education and is beginning her ninth year serving the students, staff, and families of Quitman ISD.
Throughout her career, Mrs. Wedeking has been committed to building strong relationships, supporting student success, and creating a positive school culture. Her dedication to students and passion for education have made a lasting impact on the Quitman community, and she looks forward to continuing that work in her new leadership role at Quitman High School.
Mrs. Wedeking and her husband, Dustin, have been married for 19 years and are proud parents of five children: Cannin, Hudson, Finley, Parker, and Sawyer Kate. Outside of school, much of her time is spent attending her children's dance performances, livestock events, and sporting activities.
