Our Gifted/Talented students recently participated in an exciting Region 7 ESC GT seminar, “Innovative Inventors,” where creativity, problem-solving, and critical thinking took center stage! Students were challenged with a real-world rehabilitation scenario involving an injured animal and tasked with designing and constructing a species-specific habitat to support its recovery.
Throughout the seminar, students researched the animal and its natural environment, developed a thoughtful rehabilitation plan, and managed a budget to purchase materials and bring their designs to life. The experience encouraged innovation, collaboration, and hands-on learning while applying STEM and design thinking skills!
