Meal applications not only qualify students for nutritious, no-cost school meals and summer feeding programs, but they also open the door to discounted SAT, ACT, and college application fees, helping students prepare for their futures.
In addition, the number of applications received directly impacts school funding from state and federal programs—meaning more resources for classrooms, technology, and student learning.
Meal applications also strengthen student support services, providing additional help for counselors, social workers, and paraprofessionals, and can even contribute to smaller class sizes.
