The Eastern Region of the THSBA (Texas High School Bass Association) held their Regional Fishing Tournament on April 14th at Lake Palestine. Two teams from QHS advanced to the State Tournament. JC Brisendine and Andrew Lord (Boat Captain - Charles Brisendine) qualified with a five fish total of 9.23 pounds. Langdon Bautista and Layton Brown (Boat Captain - James O'Donnell) qualified with a five fish total of 9.01 pounds.
The State Tournament is scheduled for May the 11th and 12th at Cedar Creek Lake.
