Last Friday was the UIL Region Solo and Ensemble Event. Ten members of the QHS Proud Blue Band competed and three groups will be advancing to State. The results are as follows:
- Sara Cross - 2nd Division Flute Solo
- Jazmin Rojas - 2nd Division Clarinet Solo
- Alan De Gorostiza - 2nd Division Alto Sax Solo
- Candice Baker - 2nd Division Tenor sax Solo
- Jake Johnson - 2nd Division Baritone Solo
The following students will be advancing to the State Solo and Ensemble Competition
- Oscar Roman - 1st Division Clarinet solo
- Kaitlynn Barnett, Madysen Miller and Lorena Sorrano - 1st Division Flute Trio
- Jazmin Rojas, Oscar Roman and Tristan Wood - 1st Division Clarinet Trio
