Together, we have accomplished a great deal. At all grade levels our students are receiving essential instruction in critical thinking, problem solving, and character development. They are being prepared for a successful future. Our students are safe, secure, and nurtured. Our parents are informed, involved, and incredibly supportive. Quitman is a great place to live, attend school, work, and raise a family.

We have much to be thankful for as well. This year our academic and extracurricular programs have been very successful and represented Quitman well. We have improved our facilities for our students and staff, enhanced our use of technology in the classroom, improved communication efforts, and now are on our way to graduating our seniors out into their next step in life. It’s been a busy, rewarding, wonderful year!

As we finish the 2009-2010 school year I ask you to join all of us in reflecting on the many successes we have had and the journey we have ahead. Next year will bring a new set of opportunities, challenges, and successes. For now though, it’s time to celebrate the end of the year and get some well deserved rest.
